New Page to Customize the Turtle Gadget
I just finished creating a customization page for the Turtle Gadget that you can use before you add them to iGoogle or your webpage. This should make it easier for users to get the turtles looking the way they want them to look. I will be making pages like this for the other gadgets soon.
thank you

This makes it easier to customize while adding the turtle, but it is less convenient than editing your other gadgets when it comes to adjusting colors once the gadget is already added.
Now you have to take the time to find the code for every color rather than just scrolling down and finding the color, and only referring to the Color Chooser if you want an uncommon color.

Hi Demetra,
Thanks for the feedback. I’m not sure what would be the best way to deal with that problem. Maybe I can add a link in the gadget that will create a popup window with the customization form.
Yes that could work, but don’t worry about overly much, concentrate more on making a snake. : )
But another thing I noticed, when you customize the turtle with the new page, you should then be able to embed your customized turtle with the code given, right? Because I can’t, it just embeds the original turtle.

I just tried the embed code and it worked fine for me. Where did you try using the code?
Myspace.

I updated the code so that it will work on MySpace. For some reason, it inserts “. .” after the code.
Okay, it’s still not working.
When I embed it the code looks right at first, but then when I save it the code changes back to the original code, the one with no colors in it.

That’s weird. It works for me. Myspace does convert the code from embed to object tags.
I figured out why myspace inserted the “. .”. I accidentally added an extra closing tag.
the turtle doesnt come up.
i cant do anything that will make it work.
help!
