I agree with you on the paint. Im normally not a huge stickler when it comes to paint apps. I mean I like a good app as much as anyone but just dont get too worried about if a line is slightly blurred, etc. Anyhow, I had the same issue with the boots as you!!! One is predominantly black while the other is grey. HUGELY noticable. Im sure there is a way to fix it a bit but that shouldnt have happened.
