edit settings / get code

Add this spider to your page and watch it crawl around and follow your mouse. You might even be able to give some unsuspecting victim a little scare with this one :).

To give this spider a bigger area to roam, download Google Pack and install Google Desktop.

You should then be able to find the spider in the fun and games section of the gadgets directory.

I love the spider and I have him on my Google internet homepage. Wherever I move the mouse to, he doesn’t dare going towards it. He’s really scared of my mouse but he’s goofy!

I love this spider so much. xD It’s so fun to watch it follow my mouse.

The only thing I’d like to improve would be feeding it, since you can feed pretty much all of your other pets, and I’d like to see it web the background. That’d be neat. :)

Great work! I love your gadgets so much. xD

Also, a nice feature would be the option to have the spider bound by the box, so that it never moves outside of it.

Hi Adam. Thanks for releasing this terrific animation.

One problem: I’ve resized the bounding box to 660 wide by 200 high. When the spider moves under the top, bottom, or left edge of the bounding box, it disappears smoothly. However, when it moves under the right edge it abruptly disappears — just blinks out of existence. Are you able to reproduce?

    Thanks,
    Andrew
