Gadgets » Tree Frog
Add this tree frog to your page to see how he inquisitively follows your mouse and eats the flies you give him.
You can now change the color of the tree frog, the color of the background, and the size of his belly when you add him to your page.
To add the tree frog to your desktop in Windows, you can download Google Desktop which is a part of Google Pack.
Then add the tree frog gadget from the fun and games gadgets.

It looks like there is currently a problem with setting the options of the frog on google desktop. It seems to be working fine on the home page though. I am contacting google to see why preferences are no longer working with universal gadgets and will keep you updated.

Hi Loren,
I’m glad you like the tree frog.
When embedding the treefrog pass a variable to FlashVars called up_backgroundImage that contains the address to the image you want behind the tree frog.

How come my frog’s color doesn’t change when I set options?

Beautiful frog! Adorable!
I’m trying to get him to crawl all over my desktop, as are a few other people. I’m attempting to use a windows web desktop with a page featuring your frog. Any ideas on how to get my background image to display behind the frogs wandering space? Thanks in advance, and good work.
